From the Founder
Burrow is my healing, stitched into clothing; it’s for anyone who wants to feel at home in their body again.
Burrow was born out of a deep dissatisfaction with the fast fashion cycle—its noise, its pressure, its disconnect. I kept buying clothes which looked great but didn’t feel like me. Looking into my wardrobe felt draining, and the few pieces which stood out were the ones that aged with me, carried memories, and gave comfort—pieces that felt like home. That feeling sparked a question: “Why do I only have a few of these? What if my entire wardrobe felt like that?” That’s how Burrow began—out of the desire to create clothing that becomes part of your life, not just your look.
Burrow is a slow, sensory-friendly linen clothing brand for women. It was not built for fashion trends—it was built to regulate a nervous system that was overwhelmed by them. The brand was born from certain non-negotiable fundamentals—living with ADD, anxiety, and high sensitivity, struggling with overstimulation, clothing discomfort, and the pressure to look “put-together” in ways that felt fake and exhausting. Burrow creates clothing that feels like exhaling. Cool. Breathable. Honest. A soft place to land when the world gets too loud.
While wanting to create a small shared placed in your wardrobes, in your burrows, I deeply desire to make space for a comfy couch to hold meaningful conversations about everything and nothing, about women-centric things that are repeatedly shushed, ranging from swallowing traumas with your morning coffee while romanticizing it at the same time to wondering what the conversation would look like if you shared that coffee with Trump while discussing why abortion should be legal. And I have called that couch ‘The Attic,’ extending the legacy of Virginia Woolf and freeing the “Madwoman in the Attic.” I intend on unravelling the often overlooked, tucked-away corners of a woman’s life. Additionally, an attic holds what’s not discarded but saved: old letters, diaries, keepsakes, and drafts of who we were and who we’re becoming. It’s a space where the mad, ambitious woman is locked away, and here we come together to open it.
Our Vision
At Burrow, we want to change how we think about clothes, life, and self-expression. We believe slow, mindful living should be simple and available to everyone. We want to help women and creative souls feel comfortable in their skin, confident in their minds, and connected through shared stories. Every piece of linen, every word we write, and every conversation we have is meant to hold meaning—because authenticity is strength.
